Volunteer Coaches

The success of our recreational soccer program depends upon willing volunteer coaches. If you or anyone else in your family is willing to coach, please mark the “yes” icon in your registration.

Who would be a good coach?

  • Moms and Dads
  • Grandparents
  • Aunts and Uncles
  • Adult siblings
  • Retired community members
  • Those interested in future paid coaching jobs
  • People who plan to work with kids in the future

Why should you coach?

  • Give back to the community
  • Be a role model to the kids
  • Resume builder for future coaching or teaching jobs
  • Share your current knowledge of the sport
  • For parents it is also a great way to spend time with your kids and help ensure they have a fun rec. soccer experience

What kind of support do we offer?

  • Training prior to season start
  • Access to practice plans and drills
  • Team equipment is provided
  • The club also has a reimbursement policy for US Soccer grass roots licenses

If enough volunteers are not found, we will look for additional parents to step up and help coach their child's team, if coaches still cannot be found teams may be cut.

One registration fee is refunded per team and is split between co-coaches.  Refunds cannot exceed registrations paid per coach and coaches must have volunteered for both spring and fall.

Recreational Soccer Coordinators

Just as we depend on volunteers to coach we also depend on volunteers to run the rec program.  This volunteer position will help with field preparations and other little tasks on their scheduled practice night and scheduled game time.  At the end of the soccer season (fall) volunteers will be refunded one registration fee.  All training provided for this entry level role.
