End of summer BBQ - Bertram Fund Raiser

SAVE THE DATE- The Soccer Club in cooperation with Bertram Chain of Lakes and the athletic park will be holding a End of Summer Party/fund raiser to raise money to water our fields next year. More details will be coming soon but SAVE THE DATE- Oct 7th, 2017, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at Bertram.

Recognition of MSC by SCSU Womens soccer team

The Saint Cloud State University Women's Soccer program would like to recognize the players in the Monticello Soccer Program. All players that would like to go are welcome to attend the game on Oct 15th, 2017. Players will get in for FREE but must be registered to attend. To register you just need to fill out this form so that we have your name so we can let SCSU know so you get in free. Parents, siblings or other guests coming with you will get a discounted ticket price of $5.00 per ticket. The game that you will be attending is against  Southwest Minnesota State University at 2:00 pm at the Husky Stadium. Please be sure to arrive on time for the game.

In addition to being recognized at the game, those 10 and older will be allowed to be ball kids and/or play in a scrimmage game at half time on the field, please indicate on the registration if you are interested. Everyone should wear their uniform jersey to be recognized as a player. On the registration form please mark if you are interested in being a ball kid and or participating in the half time scrimmage. This is open to recreational players as well as competitive soccer players.

2018 Team registration is open

Use the link to the right to register for a 2018 competitive team. All spots are awarded on a first come first serve basis. Once teams are filled waiting lists/second teams will be filled.

 


Welcome to our new Assistant Boys and girls directors

We would like to welcome the two newest members of the Monticello Soccer Club volunteers. They are Christian Filiaggo, New Assistant Boys director helping Josh Derkey administer the boys teams, and Todd Elfstrom New assistant Girls  director helping Sue Anderson Administer the Girls teams. If you have questions regarding your team we ask that you contact Josh or Sue first and they will direct your inquiry to the proper person.

7 TEAMS QUALIFY FOR STATE!!!!

The Monticello soccer club would like to congratulate the teams that qualified to go to the Summer state Championships. We are sending 7, yes 7, teams to represent our club in the state Championships. Good luck to these 7 teams.

We want to thank everyone for a great season, all 24 teams that we fielded this year. We are looking forward to another great year next year.

I will update the website if any teams make it to the Championship rounds so we can go to the games and cheer them one.

CONGRATULATIONS to the following teams for qualifying for state:

U11 C3 girls beat St Anthony 7-0

U12 C2 girls beat CMYSA 2-0

U14 C2 girls beat Wright county 1-0

U14 C3 boys beat Maplebrook 4-2

U16 C3 girls beat St. Anthony 3-1

U17 C2 boys beat Mankato 1-0

U19 C2 girls won by forfeit over Eden Prairie

Congratulations to the 2017 Post high school MSC scholarships.

Congrats to Heidi Voigt and Ben Fisher for receiving this years MSC scholarships for their continuing education. Heidi is attending College of St. Scholastica . Ben is attending college at Bemidji State.

Both have been awarded $500.00 to their post secondary education.

Congratulations to the following teams for winning their regular season divisions:

U14 Boys C3- Earning an MYSA promotion to C2.

U11 Girls C3- Undefeated

U12 Girls C2- One loss

Way to go to all the parents, players and coaches of these teams.

Congratulations to the U17 C2 Girls for winning first place in the Eden Prairie tournament

The U17 C2 Girls won the championship game in the Eden Prairie Tournament this weekend. The game came down to a shoot out and the Monticello Girls came out victorious, thanks in part to 2 great diving saves by the goal keeper on the kicks from the mark.

Congratulations to the U14 Girls for taking first place in the Coon Rapids Tournament

They had 3 girls from the U13C3 team play with them as well. They went 4-0 in the tournament without allowing a shot on goal.
7-0,3-0,2-0,3-0 were the scores of the games.
