1. Recreational soccer is available to boys and girls in grades K-5 in the 2011/2012 school year.
2. The Recreational Soccer season begins the week of 4/3/12. The spring session ends Saturday 5/19/12, the fall season starts the week of 9/4/12 and wraps up with a Jamboree on 10/13/12.
3. The fee for the Recreational Soccer Program is $75.00. A $10.00 late fee will be added for registrations received after Feeb 15th 2012 (making the total cost $85.00).
4. Registrations received after Feb 15th 2012, will be accepted ONLY if there is space available on a team.
5. The registration fee covers both the spring and fall sessions, and includes a Jersey, shorts and socks for each player. Soccer balls will not be provided this year but will be available for purchase at a reasonable price. No reduction in fees for only participating in one session.
6. There are several options available to pay your registration fee, you can:
1. Pay in full online with a Credit/debit card,
2. Set up a payment plan online with a Credit/debit card
3. Send a check to MSC after you complete the registration. Payment plan is only available when registering on line and a small payment plan fee applies.
7. All players are required to have shin guards to play soccer. Soccer cleats are strong recommended for the safety of your child(ren).
8. No refunds are given once the spring season starts.
9. Teams practice one night a week on either Tuesday or Thursday from 5:45pm to 6:45 pm. Games are on Saturday at either 9:00am or 10:30 am.
10. The MSC Recreational Soccer Program relies entirely on parent volunteers for coaching teams. The club supplies needed equipment, instruction and training to coach’s free of charge. If enough parents do not volunteer, it’s possible teams could be cut. You will be given an opportunity to volunteer when you register. Volunteers will receive a refund of $75.00 providing you have coached for both sessions. The refund will be given out after the end of the fall session. Note: only one refund will be given per team, so if you share the coaching responsibility with another person(s) you will split the refund equally.
11. MSC’s primary method of communication with soccer families is via Email, we strongly encourage you to check your email frequently for updates and other information.
12. To register on line you first must have an account on the MSC website. If you registered on line in the past you have an account and can log in using your user ID and password you created. If you do not have an account please follow the instructions below to create an account.
· First you have to create an account (click on tab on upper left) in order to be able to complete the online registration (if you already have an account use your current username and password to sign in).
· You will need an email address to create an account
· New members will receive an email at the address you provided with instructions on how to activate their account after they have created it.
· Once your account is activated you can then register on line.
· Once you complete the registration for one child, you will be given the opportunity to go back and add additional children once you get to the summary page.
